Online Risks Can Ruin Your Day If you have an email address, chances are that you have been sent an email claiming that you have won a large amount of money. In fact, the email probably claims that you can receive the money if you simply send a smaller amount of money to an account. Scamming, phishing, unsafe advertisements, pop-ups... there are a variety of different types of online "risks". As an internet user, it is your responsibility to know what is potentially risky, and what is potentially safe. *Note: I do not recommend that you engage in a conversation with the Nigerian Prince (a.k.a. scammer). We will leave that to the professionals, and the comedians. |
